Designed around the outcome

From a single office to a phased multi-site rollout, we install the infrastructure your networks and connected systems depend on. Work is planned to minimise disruption and completed to a consistent standard.

Tested performance

Completed installations are tested and supplied with the appropriate reports, guarantees and product warranties.

Copper and fibre

CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, CAT7, CAT8 and fibre optic installation, including fusion splicing.

Clear fault finding

Testing and diagnosis help locate cabling problems before equipment is replaced unnecessarily.

Less disruption

Careful planning helps keep operational sites working while infrastructure is installed or upgraded.

Common questions

Clear answers before the survey.

Every site is different, but these are useful starting points when planning structured cabling.

Should a new installation use CAT6 or CAT6A?

The answer depends on required speeds, cable length, power delivery, containment and the environment. CAT6A can provide more headroom, but it is not automatically the right choice for every outlet.

Will the finished cabling be tested and documented?

Yes. The appropriate testing and handover evidence is agreed as part of the scope. This can include point identification, test results, cabinet schedules and applicable manufacturer warranty information.

Can Wi-Fi and security devices share the same infrastructure project?

Yes. We can coordinate structured cabling with switching, Ubiquiti or TP-Link network equipment, wireless access points and the connectivity required by CCTV, access control and other site systems.

The detail that matters

The hidden infrastructure that every connected system relies on.

AD Systems provides structured cabling for corporate organisations, small and medium-sized businesses, schools and other sites across the UK and parts of Europe. Our work ranges from individual data points and cabinets to larger multi-level and multi-site installations.

We install a broad range of copper and fibre options to match the required bandwidth, distance and environment. Fibre work can include fusion splicing, while copper installations are tested to confirm performance and reduce the risk of faults appearing after handover.

AD Systems uses Excel, a leading UK cabling manufacturer, for suitable installations. Completed work is supplied with test results, guarantees and product warranties, giving clients evidence that the infrastructure has been installed correctly.

On live sites, the programme matters as much as the cabling. We plan access, containment, working areas and changeovers carefully to minimise avoidable downtime and disruption.

What we can cover

Practical capability from survey to support.

  • CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6A
  • CAT7 and CAT8 where appropriate
  • Fibre optic cabling
  • Fusion splicing
  • Cabinets and patching
  • Network testing
  • Fault finding
  • Test reports and warranties

A useful first conversation

What we’ll establish before recommending a system.

These questions help turn an initial requirement into a practical scope for the site, its users and its budget.

  • What devices and speeds must the cabling support now?
  • What growth or layout changes should the design allow for?
  • Are fibre links needed between floors, buildings or cabinets?
  • When can disruptive work and changeovers safely take place?
